We recently conducted in-house cold weather performance testing of our flow computer and in-field controller, AdaptMAC, to minus 30 degrees Centigrade. All of our components passed with flying colours, showing no discernible loss of function at these temperatures. In particular, there was no degradation of performance noted for the touchscreen functions and all communication ports. We are working towards having these results independently verified by a suitable testing laboratory in the near future, before rolling out our FMS to North American sites next year.
This test was critical to the impending rollout of our FMS to Teck Resources’ copper mine in British Columbia, Canada, early next year.
In all scales of mining, a critical component for productivity from all heavy equipment from the go-line, down to the center of the pit, is ensuring fuel is readily available and accessible to these pieces of equipment when their tanks run low.
Poor quality or contaminated diesel fuel contributes to more than 75% of fuel system related failures in all mining fuel consuming assets.
We would like to take this opportunity to meet with valuable clients face to face alongside one of our distributors - Intecs.
