Damir took over the CEO position at FluidIntel in July 2017. Prior to this, he was FluidIntel’s Operations Manager from April 2015. As a graduate of Australian Institute of Company Directors, Damir is a well-rounded and competent leader of FluidIntel’s next growth phase.
Damir has over 15 years of general management experience in engineering, project management and the construction environment. Holding a degree in mechanical engineering, Damir also brings very strong technical and specialist skills to this role. These skills include mechanical, electrical and process contracting, from feasibility studies through to design management, installation and commissioning. Most recently as General Manager of M+W Group Australia, Damir grew the business from a $2m turnover to almost $100m over his 12-year tenure. Damir was instrumental in securing and delivering some of the landmark projects for M+W Group globally. Career highlights include design manager/project director roles for demanding and technically challenging projects such as semiconductor cleanrooms and nuclear isotope facilities, along with a project sponsor role for the largest data centre in the southern hemisphere, with a project value of $120m.
For recreation, Damir plays soccer and does middle distance running, along with weekly group boxing and pilates classes.

Sean is responsible for leading the strategic direction and the R&D focus of the business, including software and hardware development. This emphasis on continuous improvement and innovation enables FluidIntel to remain the world’s best practice in fuel management systems for the mining sector. Sean’s strategic initiative has enabled FluidIntel’s recent move into the bulk rail transport and bulk fuel supplier sectors.
Sean was one of the co-founders of FluidIntel, and worked with the company’s founding CEO to develop a specialised fuel management system for the mining sector, AdaptFMS. Sean was responsible for the development of AdaptFMS from inception, including industrial design, electronics, and software development. AdaptFMS was launched in 2007 and quickly became the market leader in Australian mining.
Sean has led the R&D impetus since then, overseeing the introduction of the first FMS web application, the first FMS touch-screen controller, the first mining enterprise focused FMS, and the first multi-platform Remote Tank Monitoring solution (among many other innovations). Sean also went on to become FluidIntel’s CEO in 2014.
Previously, Sean was the owner, founder and CEO of the Birrell Group, where he contributed to the initial design and conception of the world’s first carbon fibre operating table, including the design of key user interface components such as the patient positioning remote control which articulated the patient through six ranges of motion before and during surgery. Sean also developed one of the first RTM (Resin Transfer Moulding) production lines in Australia to produce components for the operating table and sold the resulting IP to an Australian-based medical devices company.

Mandy Templeton is responsible for the financial management of FluidIntel. She is a specialist finance manager for manufacturing businesses and also contributes to strategy on operational improvement. Mandy has joined the business in 2015 to manage the finance team under the guidance of Ash Arnott, and moved on to take the CFO position from July 2017.
With over 18 years’ experience in financial management, Mandy has extremely strong accountancy, communication and people management skills, along with excellent attention to detail and a genuine interest in how the business performs and is managed.
Mandy was the Financial Manager for AMD Engineering, Speed Precision, Glitterama and several property-owning companies, in Cape Town, South Africa for over ten years. Prior to that, Mandy worked in her family’s bookkeeping business for eight years.
In her spare time, Mandy enjoys running marathons, and taking her border collies, Memphis and Lily, to enjoy the sights of their new home town, Sydney.

Wayne runs FluidIntel’s service department, which is headquartered in Perth, our customer support desk, based in Sydney, as well as, spare parts supply and customer returns processing and distribution.

Prior to his engagement at FluidIntel in 2015, Wayne gained 20+ years of experience working for large manufacturing and mining companies in various engineering, product development, and project roles. He spent 3 of these years working for BHP Mitsubishi Alliance (BMA) in the engineering and projects department on the implementation of large infrastructure projects.

His mining industry background and his natural clients’ orientation keeps his compass on true north when it comes to finding the right solutions for every customer. His passion about FluidIntel’s products provides the maximum possible value for our clients.

In his time off, Wayne has a passion for travel and searches the world for the best musical festivals and adventures with local people.

Philip Zoing

Philip is responsible for business development and project execution across the North and South America, and he is based in Vancouver, Canada.

Philip has over ten years’ experience in the fuel management sector, working across both engineering and sales roles. In his 8 years with FluidIntel, Phil has held roles as Project Manager, Senior Electrical Engineer, as well as, Design and Estimating Manager. Philip also assisted with the R&D of new products, and utilising software development kits for prototype builds.

Phil is the perfect contact for our new clients in the Americas, by bringing the product, project execution and engineering knowledge to the table. He is sure to answer any questions they may have, from deep technical to web-app administration ones.

Phil has a passion for boats, and usually spends his spare time in the bays of Sydney Harbour. He is currently rediscovering snowboarding in his new hometown of Vancouver.

Carl’s role is Head of Projects and Engineering.

Carl has been with FluidIntel since 2011, and prior to this his current role, he has held several positions within the company including project manager, coordinator, and planner/site supervisor. This gave him the opportunity to work with two of the biggest mining companies in the world. He has worked in West Australia’s Pilbara region with Rio Tinto Iron Ore (RTIO) and BHP Billiton Iron Ore (BHPBIO), as well as in the coal regions of Queensland with BHP Mitsubishi Alliance (BMA).

Carl holds a degree in mechanical engineering and a Master’s Degree in Project Management. He has been working within project development and management for over 10 years, developing specialist skills in design (AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks, etc), projects planning tools, and construction management. He also contributed to establishing a high standard of project management processes based on PMBOK framework.

Flexible to adjust to any role or new circumstance, Carl’s primary output has been the safe and timely project delivery with minimal disruption to client’s operations. His responsibilities also include reviewing mechanical and electrical designs, in his capacity as the engineering manager.

Off duty, Carl plays his bass guitar to the tunes of quality jazz and rock artists from the past and present.

Graham Buchanan

Hardware Product Manager

Graham’s role is Hardware Product Manager, responsible for the development and delivery of the FluidIntel product portfolio to our customers and international partners.

Graham holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) and Masters of Engineering Management (MEM) from the University of Technology Sydney and is an Associate Fellow of the Institute of Managers and Leaders. He brings to this role effective leadership in the development of new product solutions, extensive experience in the commercialisation of new products to market and operations management that also includes establishing and managing global supply chains.

He has over 13 years’ experience within the industrial electronic engineering industry that first included subsea engineering within the oil and gas industry. The past 10 years have been focused on bulk fuel handling and fuel management to deliver effective, reliable and rugged solutions to market.

Outside of the office, Graham can be found in the gym or on the squash court where he enjoys pushing his limits.

Adam Dennis

Adam’s role is business development management, responsible for sustaining and growing the Australian and South Pacific business, with a focus on turning our major Australian clients into major worldwide clients.

Adam comes to this role from an extensive background in product development, where his primary responsibility was to collect and interpret customer requirements and distil these disparate needs into a common set of deliverables to be implemented in Agile development cycles. His key focus was to effectively use and implement leading edge technology to build products that grow with the customer’s business.

Adam has over 24 years’ experience as a leader of highly skilled software and hardware development teams, serving in a number of software development management roles, including running his own web application design and development business, Coretech Aust Pty Ltd, for more than 18 years. Adam also has experience in specifying, installing, and managing networks and applications for corporate clients, gaining hard-won knowledge across roles such as on-site technician, service manager and product owner.

Off duty, Adam has enjoyed competitive sailing for over 18 years, sailing as bowman in offshore ocean races from Sydney to Coffs Harbour, Lord Howe Island, Southport and Hobart. As much as he enjoys racing, the best sailing trips for him are yacht deliveries with his Dad and hopefully one day, all three of his daughters. Adam is a keen practitioner of Tai Chi, which he says improves his sailing and sales – building awareness, balance and adaptability.

Mark qualified as Chartered Accountant in the UK and spent 4 years at JP Morgan London office in the Capital Markets Division. He became MD of the Sydney based investment company Marshall Investments in 1999. In early 2000’s Mark undertook an MBO of an insurance underwriting agency Protecsure, which he sold to the listed Steadfast Group in 2013.
Mark became a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors in 2000.

Duncan Stone is our Executive Director and major shareholder. Duncan was the Managing Director of FluidIntel from April 2015 until June 2017, bringing a new approach to the management of the company informed by his 25 years’ experience in senior roles in the environmental, energy efficiency, and engineering fields. Duncan has served as Chief Executive Officer for two ASX-listed companies in the energy and environment sector – Environmental Group Limited and Solco Limited – and has operated businesses in over 12 countries. In 2008 Duncan established Out Performers, an energy management company serving 80 of Australia’s top 200 companies, building it to market leader with staff across four offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Jakarta.
Duncan is responsible for maintaining a wide range of professional alliances and partnerships within FluidIntel market segments.
While training at the Royal Military College Duntroon, Duncan captained the Australian Combined Services soccer team to many victories and he now plays social soccer as a form of business therapy.

Tom joined FluidIntel board of directors in 2015. He brings strong entrepreneurial spirit and excellent knowledge of mining industry in Australia.
After a 5 year stint working for a large construction equipment company, Tom moved to Central Queensland and opened a mining services company manufacturing and distributing steel wear parts. This business was successfully sold to a private equity in 2008. Tom is now involved with a number of companies as a director and consultant.
